IEP Coaching

Our IEP coaching services are a great place to receive guidance on the IEP process! IEP’s can be overwhelming, and we want to help eliminate that feeling! An IEP coaching session would consist of a phone call with Melissa, our IEP Coach, Melissa can provide general knowledge about the IEP process, as well as more specific standards, laws and suggestions to help you through this process.

Parent Coaching

Parent coaching is a great option for many families, but especially for those who may find themselves in one of these categories: -not yet ready to commit to one on one OT sessions for their child, but could use support -currently have a child in OT sessions, but need more guidance/support at the moment -child has recently graduated from OT services, but parents still have some questions or ... Parent coaching is a great option for many families, but especially for those who may find themselves in one of these categories:
-not yet ready to commit to one on one OT sessions for their child, but could use support
-currently have a child in OT sessions, but need more guidance/support at the moment
-child has recently graduated from OT services, but parents still have some questions or would like more support

Parent coaching IS NOT OT! During a coaching session, there will be a call or video call between you and the coach. The child is not an active part of these sessions. Coaching offers a chance for parents to ask about specific situations, seek out guidance on specific strategies, or process through an area that may be tough at the moment. Coaching sessions are limited to 30 minutes at this time. Following a coaching session, you will receive a follow up email with a recap of the discussion, strategies to trial at home, and resources that may have been shared.

If you aren’t sure if coaching or OT sessions would be best for you and your child, please set up a FREE consultation call first! We can chat about the pros/cons of each offering, as well as provide insight to what option may be best for your family.

Hello! I am so glad you’re here!

My name is Ashleigh Bell and I am a passionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist, dedicated to supporting children in reaching their full potential and leading fulfilling, independent lives. I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2023 with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, and I’ve since had the incredible opportunity to travel and work in schools across Delaware and South Carolina. Through my travel therapy experiences, I’ve been fortunate to work with a diverse group of children, helping them develop essential skills for daily living and academic success.

I believe in a holistic, client-centered approach, focusing on creating engaging, meaningful therapy sessions that meet each child’s unique needs. I’m committed to fostering an environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to thrive.

When I’m not working with my amazing young clients, you’ll often find me singing and playing the ukulele, enjoying peaceful walks with my fiancé and our new puppy, sipping on an iced vanilla chai, or playing tennis with some friends. I love balancing my professional life with fun and relaxation, and I’m excited to be a part of the Rooted in Wellness team!
